Kathematics have been kicking around the Melbourne scene for some years now and chances are you've seen them and thought they were alright but have you seen them lately? Now a two-piece with Kath on vox and geetar and Danny on drums, they recently bought an octave pedal, locked themselves in a rehearsal room, and wrote an entire new set of songs which turned out very different to their previous stuff. Now darker, grungier and more riff-based, Kathematics 2009 are a totally new band but don't take our word for it.
