Born in 2001 with a sound firmly based on the roots of classic Thrash Metal, Killem has been a band in constant evolution, always adding new influences coming from other styles like progressive or death metal in order to develop their own personal sound.
During its existence, the band has been able to share the stage with international acts like Napalm Death, Textures, Unexpect, Moonsorrow and Tankard among others; and also with Spanish metal giants like Saratoga, Avulsed, Ktulu, Warcry and Lujuria.
Their discography includes the critically acclaimed demo Void, that opened the gates for the band’s first full length record, MUTED, released by Dark Rails Records. Following the release of MUTED, the band appeared in interviews, reviews and sampler CDs on the Spanish editions of Kerrang! and Metal Hammer among others.
At present, the band is focused on writing new material, including new levels of experimentation and brutality in their sound.
Formada en 2001, con un sonido firmemente basado en las raíces del Thrash metal clásico, KILLEM ha sido una banda en constante evolución, siempre añadiendo nuevas influencias provenientes de otros estilos como el progresivo o el death metal a fin de desarrollar su propio sonido personal.
Durante su existencia, la banda ha podido compartir escenario con bandas internacionales como Napalm Death, Textures, Unexpect, Moonsorrow y Tankard entre otros; y también con importantes bandas españolas como Saratoga, Avulsed, Ktulu, Warcry y Lujuria.
Su discografía incluye la demo aclamada por la crítica "Void", que abrió las puertas del primer LP de la banda, "Muted", editado por Dark Rails Records. Tras la edición de "Muted", la banda apareció en entrevistas, críticas y CD recopilatorios de las ediciones españolas de Kerrang! y Metal Hammer entre otras.
En la actualidad, la banda está centrada en escribir nuevo material, incluyendo nuevos niveles de experimentación y brutalidad en su sonido.
