Kind of Girl is a new scandinavian act
The short story : Four danes decided to bring to the worlds attention: interesting, addictive, beautiful, honest and inspiring pop songs. Sissel O wrote the songs ( and sings them) Rune Buhr produced the material ( and plays the bass ) Søren joined as well ( and even began singing) - took charge of the keys and programing, Jesper booked the gigs, got them airplayed (and marries Sissel!) Kind of Girl has come a long way, since Sissel returned from The States and gave up her bebop guitarchops, in favour of spending some time writing pop tunes(they simply sound better!). Somewhere along the way Jesper arrived, and urged her to keep up the good work. Rune was called in on a studio session, to put some bass on a few tracks. Fortunately he decided to stay a little longer. Søren was headhunted and Kind of Girl was formed. The band finished the recording of their first studio album ( "lonely in a modern way") recently and followed up with an EP ("Petit fours), and are now looking for international partners to colaborate with. Without doubt they belong among the hardest working scandinavians in showbiz....and the ones with the greatest songs!



Sissel - vocal and guitar, song writing and melodies: The very reason of the existence of the band. Our joking queen of fairy tale people. Working hard to bring female touch to the IT gaming industry. Drinks water like a camel - and creates oasis among dreamers, and occasionally comes up with tunes that bring visions of filled bank accounts and travelling the planet..may the gods of creativity inspire her!!

Rune - bass and backing vox, producer and arranger: Perhaps the strongest believer of the four. If the wind blows from the wrong corner he changes it. The mental anchor of the ship. Recording mixing and living music. He is very well known at the local pizzeria, and plays table tennis as Michael Maze. A true hero!!

Søren - keyboards and backing vox, programing and co-producing: his car has a tendency to seek jams and he shows up at rehearsal with huge bags of stimuli..creates sounds unheard of in this world and takes the rain so the rest can stay dry..master of transforming sharp intelligence into oil on the social chain..and! he can transform a 26 channel setup into 5 channels in a flick of a moment!

Jesper - generel manager: J is working the office part in colaboration with the other girls and our foreign management. Goes his own ways and not always for the better.. he works 30 hours a day and dream kind of girl at night. World dominance seems to be the quest!
