General
Life is my main interest. I want to get up close and personal with everyone I meet, but I don't mean that in a sexual way - intimacy is so much deeper than that.

Music
Pretty eclectic tastes really - I love nearly all music ranging from Asian to Tribal! Main loves would be Indie, Folk and Metal, with key influences being Morrissey, Richard Thompson, Radiohead, The Smiths, Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative, Pink Floyd, Blur, Kate Bush, Tori Amos and Bjork.
Movies
What makes a good film? One that makes you laugh or cry? One that makes you think? Or one that is representative of your life at that point? I can only mention a few of the films I love here to avoid running on for hours but "Betty Blue", "Caberet", "Donny Darko", "Truly, Madly, Deeply", "La Homme Du Train", "Kal Ho Naa Ho", "North by Northwest", "Withnail & I", and "School for Scoundrels" (the original) are all worth a watch.
Television
Good drama and documentary shows - historical, modern, programmes about music. Things I can learn from and that challenge the way I view the world.
Books
I love reading, and I'll read practically anything. I really enjoy poetry and biographies, graphic novels, science-fiction with socialist leanings and factual books too. I'd probably read the telephone directory if there was one in the room!
Heroes
Anyone who was strong enough to truly love me for who I am, not try to change me, see me as the most beautiful person they'd ever me and never reject me; my parents, my best friend, my godsons, and my Lord.
I consider myself to be an Urban Hippy. I was born in the middle of the urban sprawl and the smog and the vibrancy of the city will be in my blood forever, but at the same time part of me is always yearning for the sunshine, mountain tops, beaches and large expanses of untainted land.
I'm a Christian first and foremost, and politically I am an environmentally friendly socialist. I want to make the world a better place through words, action and music.
Who I'd like to meet: People of a similar mindset who want to challenge negativity by creating wonderful things and are not afraid to be different.

Hi Kitty!! Yeah I made my page all pretty :) I don't use it that much though these days....it seems to be all about facebook hehe. Wow is the moz concert tomorrow?? I'm waiting to see if he adds any more dates round North West area, seemed daft to travel to London. Aw I hope you have a fab time....let me know how good it was!
