Kortney Shane was born in Cleveland Ohio, on July 4th, 1984. The second born of four children it was obvious that he had the natural ability to entertain at an early age. At the age of five, he began dancing in the basement of a local after hours bar. Kortney Shane moved to Tampa Florida, with his family, in March of 1994. There he was raised in the suburbs of Brandon Florida, along with his other brother and sisters. In 1996 Kortney Shane made the transition from Christian schooling to Public school. As a freshman in high school Kortney began playing on the boys.. basketball team. There, he would begun develop the ability to make people laugh. After graduating from Armwood High School, in May of 2002, he began attending The University of South Florida, while working fulltime. After a couple years he began to lose interest in school, and develop a passion for stand up comedy. Kortney first performed on stage at age 20, and has been an anointed performer ever since. In July of 2006, he released his debut cd entitled, ..I don..t really care.... He is determined to become the best through continued diligence, and won..t stop until his purpose is fulfilled.
