Der KUNSTVEREIN ist eine soziokulturelle Institution zur Förderung von Kunst und Kultur und ein fester Bestandteil der Jugend- und Subkulturlandschaft Nürnbergs. Generationsübergreifend wird hier seit über 30 Jahren (gegr. 1976!) unentgeldlich(!) und basisdemokratisch(!) Kulturarbeit geleistet.

Wir schaffen in unseren Räumen und bei unseren Veranstaltungen eine respektvolle Atmosphäre für alle. Für Diskriminierungen aufgrund der sexuellen Orientierung, der Hautfarbe, der Herkunft oder des Geschlechts gibt es bei uns keinen Platz!
The Kunstverein is a place for bands and djs of all kinds of music from all over the world to perform their music. Founded in 1976, it has become an important part of Nuremberg's underground music scene. At the moment its program mainly consists of Latin-Ska, Doom/Stoner, Hardcore and Punk(rock) bands, as well as Reggae and Drum 'n Bass djs. All other kinds of music are welcome at any time. The only exception is any kind of performance which includes racist, fascist and anti-semitic ideas. Band requests are always welcome!!
