About Tyler Mullendore and L.A. Speedway

LA Speedway came together in the summer of 2005 in Inverness Cape Breton for the annual Fisherman's Picnic at the Inverness Wharf. They put a 45min set together in about 2hrs practice time. The band consists of Paddy Ryan, DJ King and Tyler Mullendore. Paddy hails from Inverness, and takes care of the drums and the odd backup vocals. DJ hammers on the base and like to call River Dennys his home. Tyler fronts the band, with lead vocals and guitars. Tyler has done all the writing up until now with the exception of DJ's two cents on Nicotine Blues. Tyler hails from Lake Ainslie (LA), which is what leads them to the name of their band. LA Speedway was a stock car racetrack in Lake Ainslie, owned and operated by Tyler's uncle during the 80's, it was very well-known in Nova Scotia for those who liked to race. They like to call themselves a modern rock band but with heavy blues and classic rock influence. A solid bunch of boys. 3 true Cape Bretoners who like to play music and have a rockin' time.
