It all started more than ten years ago with two teenage friends playing music together in local churches in the southern Ohio area. Keyboard player, Charles Holsinger, and drummer, Jedidiah Cyrus, felt that God was calling them into the ministry. After working for the Lord in separate paths God began to bring their ministries together in 2008.
In summer of 2008 the band Latter Rain was officially formed. After much prayer and counsel God began to open doors of ministry bringing two other young men to the group. Bass player, Dave Ingles and Lead Guitarist, Ed Zeno added much talent and chemistry to the group. Latter Rain has been privileged to play in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Michigan,Indiana and Pennsylvania ministering inside and outside churches to those who are in need of encouragement and salvation.
Latter Rain uses a variety of songs many of which are originals as well as a mixture of favorite hits. Ministering through a unique blend of contemporary Christian music with a southern gospel feel Latter Rain introduced their first CD, “By Faith”, in February 2009. Latter Rain released their first radio Single in the Spring of '09' "Try Jesus" and Released a second single in summer '09' "By Faith". Both of which have charted well on many Internet Stations as well as Open air radio. Latter Rain was blessed to sign with Porch-Lite Music under their Heartsong label.
Being lead by the anointing Latter Rain continues to minister to crowds small or large anywhere God opens a door. Their primary focus is to lead people to Jesus Christ ministering to the saint as well as those in need of a Saviour. Thankful for what God has done and excited about what God is going to do, Latter Rain desires to be used in this great end time revival.
