About me: LAVA Ministries (Los Angeles Voices of Angels) was Originally founded April 4, 1994 by Vincent L. Pierson, after many appearances at various functions; he decided to take a break from the choir and pursue other avenues in Gospel. In 2002, God commissioned Vincent to start the choir again, at that time he consulted the help of Gospel Veteran - Min. Lamont Bradley & Lord Before Us Productions for Management.
On February 17, 2003 they reassembled and vowed to become one of Los Angeles' top Gospel Ministries. Since their reformation - they have shared the stage with Tim "Bishop" Brown, Nysa Shenay, Robert Gillmore, Dr. Calvin B. Rhone, Jeffrey Pearson, Min. Tony McGill, Freda Battle & the Temple Worshippers, ReJOYce, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Edwin Hawkins, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Tonex, Hezekiah Walker, Dr. Margaret P. Douroux, Ricky Dillard, and others.
Their Debut Concert on April 26, 2003 was packed to capacity. On that night God really got the glory - every musical guests was good, but LAVA took the house to another level.
On July 7, 2003 members of LAVA provided background vocals for Min. Tony McGill's Live Recording "Perfect Peace: Songs for the People". With its recent release, the buzz is flowing in the Industry... Their Summer Concert "It's Getting Hot In Here" (September 6, 2003) was a big success... The Saints were IN for hours, from the First song to the Last...
On April 24, 2004 LAVA celebrated their 1st Anniversary, and the event was packed and attended by some very influential Industry hit makers. Thus allowing LAVA to make their mark in the Industry. SCGAG (Southern California Gospel Announcers Guild) nominated LAVA as Inspired Group of the Year for 2004, for which their pre-show performance was a Blessing to all in attendance.
Their 2nd Anniversary on April 23, 2005, was captured on video and broadcasted on Comcast by over 65,000 viewers. This presentation open the door for LAVA to minister in such cites as San Pedro, CA, Pomona, CA, Altadena, CA and others. September 9, 2005 LAVA sponsored a Benefit Midnight Musical, that not only was packed, but a Financial success; The praise carried over pass 2AM
Their Live Recording on November 26, 2005 - was witness by over 700, and ("This Is My Story") will be released in Spring 2006. They believe in "Letting The Anointing Flow through Songs of Praise."

Good morning man of God. I YET pray that all is well with you. I’m planning for this comment to be short, but as I looked through my myspace friends list, I was encouraged because your testimonies of success and even failure are what fuel The Fire God placed inside of me to keep going. To keep living and trusting in Him. To know that there are others who are PRESSING on, in spite of. THANK YOU JESUS!!! There is such chaos in our world. So much hurt and pain. For real. Secret stuff that you and I will never know about. But He is keeping us through it all. HALLELUJAH!!! I had to hit you up to tell you to be encouraged and please keep doing a good work representing The Kingdom. Good morning Vincent. I pray that all is well with you. Thank you for adding me to your friends list. I certainly believe that God has great things in store for us, His children. So many things have changed since Ike, so I don’t know how much longer I will be online, but I thank God for this season and I don’t want to disappear without sending a word to you, my myspace friends.
Life is so interesting. It’s amazing how it comes and it goes. After 26 years, I can truly say that I am thankful for God’s Word in my life. When times get rough, I pick up my bible or recall The Word that has been hidden in my heart and find encouragement and strength to endure. It’s in His Word that I’ve discovered my purpose for living. I remember days not wanting to live anymore. In fact, if God had not kept me in the seasons when I didn’t want to be kept, I wouldn’t be here with the strength to live and even send such a message. I remember the negative words that not only others spoke against me, but that I spoke against myself. So for God to continue to show me His amazing love and keep me through all of that, I HAVE to worship Him and give Him the praise.
So much more could be said, but because I’ve been rebuked for long messages before, :-), this message is being sent to say be encouraged. HOLD ON to The Word and praise Him!!! Praise is a MIGHTY weapon. It’s a blessing to know that “this” (whatever obstacle(s) we encounter) too shall pass, just like every obstacle that has come before it. HALLELUJAH!!!
