Lavotchkin are a 5 piece Hardcore Punk Rock and Roll band formed in July 2005, made up of five guys spread throughout the North East of England. We make our own paths, we do things our own way and generally share a love for touring/partying/generally fucking shit up whenever we can.

Over the years we have spent as a band, we have toured all over the UK and Toured Europe (Three times), tearing things up in Belgium, Germany, Austria, The Czech Republic and Slovakia. We have played with tones of sweet bands and even some of our favourites. Bands such as: The Hope Conspiracy, Rise and Fall, Doomriders, Daughters, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Gallows, Bring Me The Horizon, The Chariot, Architects, Rolo Tomassi, Send More Paramedics (RIP), Walls Of Jericho, The Red Chord, Malkovich (RIP), November Coming Fire (RIP), The Plight, Brides, Blacklisted, Grizzley Twister, OutCryCollective, Autumn Delay, Crocus, TrainWreck, The Plague Mass, D rail (RIP), Bossk (RIP), Attack Vipers and Errander.

We have a forth coming split 7inch with Attack Vipers in the process of being finished for a summer 09 release through Evil B records (who will be also putting out the Pure Graft/ Beasts split 7inch! so check that out also early 2009). We also have also recently recorded for a split CD with our good friends Crocus which is set for release in June 09. This beauty will be a split release between Small Town Records, We Heart Records in the UK and in Europe via klangverhaeltnisse Records in Germany. Currently we have been spending a lot of time writing our debut album which is coming out a fucking treat. We are recording our debut in May and honestly cant wait. We are going to be spending Two weeks with the infamous Jason Sanderson in his studio in Barnsley. He has been a long time friend, we know him well and have full faith in his abilities. He has also done some awesome recordings for bands such as 65 Days Of Static, The Mirimar Disaster, Rolo Tomassi and The Plight. So 2009 will be the year for loads of Lavotchkin music to become available! Totally siked for showing everyone our newer songs. Thanks for being patient.
