Hi! Just a few lines for the benefit of those of you that don't know about LEO'S THE RED LION.
I started putting bands on in the late 70's. the first of which was a localband (Gravesend)called 'REBEL'.
Since then it has played host to many good as well as famous bands, the likes of 'IRON MAIDEN' 'MARILLION' 'GIRLSCHOOL' 'THE GROUNDHOGS' 'SAMSON' 'GUN' 'AMEN' and not just metal/rock bands 'BAD MANNERS' 'DOCTOR & THE MEDICS' 'STEVE MARRIOT' 'BERNIE MARSDEN''HUGH LLOYD LANGTON''ERIC BELL'(thin lizzy)great PUNK bands like '999''UK SUBS''TEMPOLE TUDOR''ANTHRAX'again too many to list now, but I'm sure some of you could add to it!If you were in a band that played here let us know, if you have photo's better still!!!
