Born in Brooklyn, as the youngest of three children, Lissa Fiore developed a taste for the performing arts. By the age of four, she already had a tremendous love of singing, dancing and entertaining in front of an audience. She would set- up impromptu performances for family and friends. Even at this young age, her family knew that she possessed something special. At age eight, she made her singing debut in a school talent showcase. Although she was nervous and scared, Lissa was overcome by feelings of exhilaration and fulfillment. For Lissa, that marked the first day of her successful career.
Her family has played a significant role in her life. Their undying love and support has helped her dream of performing become a reality. Lissa was inspired by the powerhouse voices of: Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, India Irie and Christina Aguilera. You wouldn’t expect her unique style and sweet mixture of R&B, Pop and Neo-Soul to come from an Italian girl, residing in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
Lissa has captured the hearts of audiences in the international markets of Germany, Japan and Jamaica.
She works with producers such as: Shawn Keys of Just Awesome Music,Inc., Twizz of Too Twizzlin Productions/Foxx King Publishing, and Shuji Hirose of Soundmen On Wax, as well as writers like Leptune..aka.."PEN PLATINUM". Lissa is a talented singer, and a songwriter as well, writing many of her own hits. Lissa, (known to her fans as the "ITALIAN BARBIE") feels at home on stage, constantly being fueled by energy from the crowd and the intense feeling of being able to touch the lives of others with her vocal abilities. The passion she expresses through her music comes naturally, because she is doing what she loves most.
Lissa’s deep devotion to her music and audience motivates her to continually reach new heights. As a result of her undeniably selfless attitude and a need for helping others, Lissa has taken part in many fundraisers and charity events for: Breast Cancer Awareness, Children Without A Voice, 9/11, The Epilepsy Foundation and more. Lissa has not only given of her talent to these causes, but also her time and money.
Besides her love for music, Lissa is also a licensed Cosmetologist, who has a serious passion for hair and makeup. She is always changing her look and has fun exploring different styles. She also enjoys working out, reading and spending time with her family and adorable Chihuahua-Spartacus. Though she is a rising star, Lissa is a down-to-earth woman with a big heart and a humble attitude. Her excitement to break through this industry is enormous.
Since touring Germany in 2007, Lissa has recorded new material that she is excited to share with her fans. From her upcoming album “CLOSER”, the groundbreaking single “AROUND THE GLOBE” is attracting fans of all ages. This song has been featured on various national and international radio stations and is fast becoming a groundbreaking hit. Many plans are in the works for this upcoming star, so stay tuned as Lissa Fiore takes the music industry to newer and greater heights.
