I'm Madeline, Zoo Town Montana resident,I'm also a would-be artist in my free time, dance enthusiast, liberal, activist, psuedo-vegiterian, pagan, and hippy-goth. My range of interests is wide, as well as my circle of friends. I am blessed to have the support of my wonderful family, my beautiful girlfriend, and close friends, and spiritual community, who act as the best safety net and inspiration in the world.
Spiritually I'm a practicing pagan and in my third year of dedication as a Priestess of the Goddess. I took my first mark May first of 2007. I am blessed to be a coven member of Opus Aima Obscurae (O.A.O) and to study under Priestess Esthamarelda McNevin, and Priest Colin Smith (Raven Digitalis)
For more information on the O.A.O please check out our MySpace page, which is new as of this year. It will list our events, goals, and various meditations or spellwork from time to time in our blogs. (The link is #1 on my friends list.) You can also visit the website linked below, which is Raven's personnal site, and already has training requirements and other information about us listed. (Also on Raven's site, you can order copies of his books to help support the author directly and get signed copies! Check it out!)
O.A.O is holding several circles that are open to the public this year! Esthamarelda and I will be hosting Dark Moon Womens' Circles for divination each month. Raven will be leading Mens' circles monthly as well, on the Dark Sun. In addition to these we will be holding public events for the High Holidays as well as Cottage Crafting events throughout the year. Please, once again, check our myspace page for the schedule, or feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.
Outside of my spiritual life, I suppose I'm just your every-day, run of the mill, individual hoping to help promote positive change, awareness (spiritual, environmental, political, humanitarian or otherwise) love and progression in the world, starting with myself, one day at a time.
I am also an aspiring Artist, if you are interested in my work please see my online gallery Here!
And of course everyone else, so long as you are an openminded and interesting person! I'm always looking to network with artistic and spiritual minded people!
Thanks for the info about the photo. I think I thought the comment would end up on AJ's page since the photo was on his page when I looked at it. I'll ask him and Colin to see what they say. It looks really great and I think it would be nice as a painting, even though my painting skills are not that great.
Hey girl! I just thought I would drop in to say Hello, and see how you've been doing! I got your message that you're now an art student at the University of Montana-Missoula! How are you liking college so far? Hopefully your courses aren't too difficult and your professors are both competent and pleasant! Learning any interesting art techniques or doing any cool projects? Before I enrolled at Missouri State I seriously considered majoring in Art (though I also considered majoring in Psychology and Sociology as well . ), but in the end my family convinced me that it would be difficult to make a career and a decent living with an Art degree. Damn them! Now I'm stuck with a double major, both of the Science persuasion. At least I enjoy it (mostly) and it's something I'm naturally good at. We all know that you have a deep well of natural Artistic talent, so I'm glad to see that you're putting it to use! I wish you the best in your academic endeavors!
I was always used to seeing you with long, thick, hair that it was a
pleasant surprise to see it short, and styled in such a manner. Your
hair has always been gorgeous, but this pixie-esque style really brings
out your beautiful features. I've been doing something completely
different with my hair as of late- letting it grow, unrestricted. I've
always kept it about mid-neck length, all cut in shaggy layers except
for my bangs -which I've always left long so I can pull it back easy-,
and generally styled with a flat iron since my hair is naturally
ringlet curly, and a mess if left alone. Now, however, I haven't had
the time to get my hair cut (in like 5 months), and since it grows so
ungodly fast it reaches my hips now, and with it so long I haven't had
either the time nor the inclination to straighten it. I like that I
have Maeve's hairstyle now -my hair is black too-, but it's only
because I've been to busy to get a hair cut. ><
Okee, done with the hair ramble. How have you been lately? How is your
artwork coming along, in particular that graphic novel you and Anju were working on?
Thank you for the sweet comment. I'm glad to meet you as well, I love talking to new faces in the Pagan community. I hope you're doing well and you have a great day! Happy October 1st!
I just wanted to say thank you for accepting my friend request. I appreciate it. I love the profile, very nice! I hope you're well and I wish you a safe and great day.
I haven't forgotten about your letter. It's just that since I'm going to two different towns on the Día de los Muertos, I thought it better to wait until then so that I can send traditional gifts with the letter. Sounds good?
Hope all is well, sister. Much love and light, Phoenix ^_^
