I am a gentleman, brother, friend, uncle, nephew, and a son.. I am the stranger you have yet to meet and a friend trying to guide you to untroubled water, I am a human with elaborate dreams.

I am Lalli.

I am a poet/spoken word artist who writes from a driven passion to make a difference through opening minds to alternate perspectives with encouraging positive messages. I have matured into my own unique style of off-beat slant rhymes that reach a depth of profound simplicity. The messages are easy to understand, but those who are wiser will grasp the underlayer of a deeper meaning. My craft is constantly evolving into a finer work of art due to my continued dedication. So if you like my work, please keep coming back because I am always sharing my newest pieces.

I currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona where my roots are established in its poetic scene. If it weren't for all the difficult life lessons AZ has taught me I would have never realized my passion. Lessons that came with much personal cost but their value are beyond any price.

First and foremost, Jesus Christ my lord and savior

My father, mother, and family which are my world.

Phenomenal Poets such as:
Apollo, Wisdom Soul, Manifest Destiny, Corbet Dean, Taylor Mali, Myrlin, Walt Whitman, Edgar Allen Poe (the master of rythmn and rhyme) common, mos def, lyrics born(amungst many others), along with just about any person I've ever had any sort of interaction with. As well as anyone I've heard perform or shared their poetry in the written word.

ON 9-26. I was fortunate enough to have my work recognized by Michael J. Burt. He is a 3 time author, columnist, poet, and internet radio show host. He was also nominated for the African American Literary Awards for poetry. I was featured in a 30 minute interview.
