Singers and guitar players are a dime a dozen - or so they say. Laurie Dameron's performances are an exception - they reflect a broad range of creative experiences accumulated since early childhood.
Laurie is is incredibly versatile not only in her song writing but her guitar playing. She can play just about any style from bluegrass to folk and rock, blues and jazz and even a litttle heavy metal! Just listen to a little of each song on her MySpace.
Laurie has been performing almost her entire life. In the last fifteen years she has played at over 300 venues in and out of Colorado. In the summer of 2007 she performed 93 shows including Boulder Creek Festival, Capital Hill People's Fair and A Taste of Colorado! More recently she has played in Denver at the D Note, Mead Street Station and Denver's premier jazz club, Dazzle and the Democratic National Convention.
With a powerful stage presence she can engage even the most sober audiences. And with a unique sense of humor and wide musical influences from Duke Ellington to the Grateful Dead, Laurie relates well to any audience.
