  • General

    Reading, swimming, Victoriana, theater, photography, and comedy. Especially the comedy that makes me laugh, not so much the stuff that makes me cringe in embarassment. Sorry Adam Sandler.

  • Music

    Anything but rap and country. I tend to forget music exists for long periods of time. Rasputina, The Doors, Vast, Queen, Nine Inch Nails, Oingo Boingo, Nirvana, CCR, The Killers, to name a few.

  • Movies

    All time favorite film: Dangerous Liaisons. Which I think is far superior to Valmont, though Valmont was visually stunning. And anything with Angelina Jolie in it, cause DAMN she's hot

  • Television

    Have not owned one in nine years, but am addicted to the DVDs of Firefly.

  • Books

    Anything! I love Victorian literature, but also enjoy Terry Pratchet, Neil Gaiman, and most classics. I was a big fan of The Mayor of Castorbridge, which I just finished reading again. Favorite book: The Monk, by Matthew Lewis. Current guilty pleasures are Kim Harrison books. Poetry: AE Housman The only book in the world that I think should be burned is Wuthering Heights. Someone should have put the Bronte sisters out of their, (and our), misery before they had a chance to write.

  • Heroes

    gotta love the anti-heroes... Hilary Clinton at the moment, cause whether I vote for her or not, kudos to any woman running for president. Angelina Jolie for using her money for something worthwhile. John McCain for being a Republican who thinks for himself. My cat for trying to scare raccoons twice her size away from my trailer. .. ..

    Yay! it will be fun! No worries with make-up(I would be happy to do it-I used to be a make-up artist) Maybe I can get Britt to come along for hair (if not we can wing it)

    Hi Laurie, how are ya? this is going to sound like a strange request-as i never even see you, but I'd like to take photos of you sometime. I know you are a photog too,(and Anthony told me that you despise photoshop) but I'd like to do some fantasy as well as period shots & I think you would be the perfect model.( You have this sort of innocent, ethereal quality that would really work for what I have in mind.) let me know what you think.
