Lavotchkin are a 5 piece Hardcore Punk Rock and Roll band formed in July 2005, made up of five guys spread throughout the North East of England. We make our own paths and we do things our own way. Some time early next year we have an album called "Widow Country" coming out. Its recorded and is well on its way to completion, so be fucking ready!

Over the years we have spent as a band, we have toured all over the UK and Europe, tearing shit up each step of the way and still lusting for more. Our travels have seen us play with tones of sweet bands, such as: The Hope Conspiracy, Darkest Hour, Rise and Fall, Doomriders, Trash Talk, Daughters, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Gallows, The Chariot, Architects, Send More Paramedics (RIP), Walls Of Jericho, The Red Chord, Malkovich (RIP), November Coming Fire (RIP), Blacklisted, Grizzley Twister, OutCryCollective, Autumn Delay, TrainWreck, Rent To Kill, The Plague Mass, Brides, Crocus, Attack Vipers and so many more!

Our brothers in arms Crocus and our selves just had a split CD released between Small Town Records and We Heart Records in the UK. Along side that, klangverhaeltnisse Records in Germany have kindly put the split out in Europe also, so do us a favour and go pick yourself up a copy! We also have a split 7inch with Attack Vipers that is just waiting on the artwork being completed. So stay tuned for news in the near future about that little Gem. Both Crocus and Attack Vipers are sweet, so make sure you take some time to check them out!

2009 has so far has been an intense year for Lavotchkin. We have no plans on this stopping, so keep an eye out for Tour dates! We are trying our best to hit a town near you.

We just recorded our album with the infamous Jason Sanderson in his studio in Barnsley. For those unfamiliar with Jasons work, over the years he has recorded releases for bands such as 65 Days Of Static, The Mirimar Disaster, Rolo Tomassi and The Plight. We have the rough mixes back at current and everything is sounding well beyond our expectations. Still more work being done to it, though 2010 will see its birth. We cannot fucking wait......
