Hey Everyone! I am Aleesia “Leesi” Gillis. I’m 14 and I love acting and singing,not because as some people would say it's an easy way out lol(and trust, it isn't easy at all) but because its my passion and entertaining people is what I do. Acting and singing was always what I was destined to do since I was one when my personality started to really show, there wasn't a doubt about it.I've been acting since I was seven and projects have varied from plays to Musicals to having small roles, being an extra in movies or commercials and I'm looking forward to growing and continuing on in this business. I have been singing since I was two. Singing was the only way to get me off of my pacifier or as I used to say “Paci”. Singing any song around the house my ears could hear it’s no surprise I was one of the loudest in kindergarten chorus. When I was in kindergarten my music teacher recognized my voice and told my mother that I had a talent and that as soon as I was the right age to get into music lessons and shows. As a child I was known for two things, smiling and singing. To this day people still know me for my smile and singing but to me its not just music it’s deeper than that.
Music to me is a chance to not only heal you but heal others in the process. It can put you in different place, help you think out a situation, inspire you, help you relax or just give you something to dance and move to. Music is a part of my everyday mentality. So with my music I want to inspire, relax and heal my listeners by giving you something to relate to, I put myself into the music.
