Liana Stampur is a singer/songwriter/musician and PROUD native New Yorker. A graduate from NYU'S Tisch School of the Arts' Experimental Theater Wing with a BFA in Drama and Applied Theater. Liana's been using music to bring about social change in many ways; she performed at the ACLU's Day of Action in Washington DC and she is the proud founding performer of the New York Civil Liberties Union's "Broadway Stands Up For Freedom!" benefit concert. Liana is also a NYC teacher and a certified Music Together Teacher. She's found herself using music in various work with children around North, Central and South America, her favorites being Nicaragua, Equador, New York City and Boliva. Liana's music varies from Folk/Pop to Children's music, to her most recent work, as author and arranger of Deportees.
