I am a 54 year old happily married female who has 2 grown children and a wonderful grandson named JUSTIN! I also have TWO granddaughters named HEIDI and SAVANNA! I am a Christian first and foremost, a Child of the KING of Kings, a retired nurse, Wife and Mother. I love doing Swedish Weaving, Knitting, Reading and working on the Computer.

I was born into a Christian family. My Dad was a career Navy serviceman. My Mom a Homemaker. I was the eldest of six (6) siblings: 3 sisters and 2 brothers. My Dad passed away 4 years ago after suffering with Lupus, and my youngest Brother passed away 2 years ago after committing suicide.

We were raised all over the United States. Our last Tour of Duty, so to speak, brought us to North Carolina where my Dad was born and raised. He was stationed in Charleston, South Carolina, but the rest of us lived in Supply, North Carolina. He finished his contract with the United States Navy, and retired with 20 years. He then served 10 years in the Fleet Reserves.

I currently live in Jacksonville, North Carolina, with my wonderful husband, Don! Jacksonville is home to Camp Lejeune Marine Corp Base, Marine Corp Air Station, Camp Geiger, and Camp Johnson. I'm very proud of our Military bases, and very proud of our Men and Women who choose to serve in the armed forces.

It is They and Their families whom sacrifice to give us our freedom so that we can live in Peace and Security. Without the Military commitment of these Honorable Men and Women who march off to Duty in Peace times and War Times we would be hard press to be the America we are. So I not only Salute those who serve and have served, I am very grateful to you for defending my freedom and rights of our Country!

I enjoy studying the Bible, talking with and conversing with others who enjoy the same thing. I especially enjoy the study of Prophecy and History. It is the knowledge via His Holy Spirit that gives us the understanding of His Holy Word that will give us the Key to know what lies ahead for all now and in the future. His Word, both Past, Present and Future is exciting, thrilling and awe-inspiring.

I also have Multiple Sclerosis. It is a disease that has taught me a lot about myself and has also taught me a lot about life. It has given me a perspective that only one who has a chronic illness can understand. So...if you're coping with this disease, and need someone to communicate with, feel free to contact me.

I also, at one time just within the past 2 years, had Alopecia Universalis. A condition where one loses ..ALL.. body hair. Fortunately for me, after a year of doing absolutely nothing but leaving it all in Jesus' hands, and just praying that I would get the hair on my head back, it started to come back!
