About me:

I'm madly in love with God, Christ follower, I'm a happily married writer and mom of a teenage son. I've moved thirty-three times in nine states, worked in banking, technology, and major computer corporations traveling around the country as a systems analyst.

I'm not a perfect wife, perfect mother, or perfect at anything. I keep a fairly clean house, cook semi-decent meals, and love to write. I'm a real life woman with real life problems. I've made stupid mistakes, sinful mistakes, and often traveled down the wrong roads. God never gave up on me and never let go, welcoming me home when I stumbled back seeking His grace.

Thanks to undiagnosed Lyme disease for over six years, my medical journey could be used by several medical television shows--House, ER, Grey's Anatomy, you missed your chance. This wasn't my first journey through difficulties--there have been many. I serve an awesome God who has helped me through sexual molestation, assault, rape, divorce, cancer, death, six surgeries, and illness.

There has been nothing enjoyable about suffering and pain but I wouldn't change it for the world, because through it all I have grown closer to the God who created, formed, and loved me before I was born. And you, my dear friend, also have a God who is with you, and who loves you forever.

    Friend, seek the Lord with all your heart believing that you will receive, faith of a mustard seed for this is all we need, then as you use this muscle it will develop, if you will speak it everyday, it [will] come to pass, even if at first it is small just words eventually these words spoken out loud will be planted into your heart taking root, then before you know it, the enemy is scared, you made up your mind that's it, I know without doubt all I have asked for will be done in the Wonderful name of JESUS!      Psa 100:5 For the LORD [is] good; His mercy [is] everlasting, And His truth [endures] to all generations.

    Jos 1:7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

    Oh, but you didn't miss it my beloved.  How are you this week?  We have another awesome testimony that we are also wishing for you.  We trust God.  It was in His perfect timing even though the ride was rough.  We survived with His grace.  He's doing the same (and even greater) for you and your family.

    Hi Lisa,

    Wow! What a great surprise to drop by your site and see my "Thorns and Fragrant Roses" in your player. I feel honored! I think that song reflects your story quite well.

    I would love to see your Idaho photo's on your facebook page. I'm not on Facebook although it looks like almost the rest of the world is. Angie Thompson was saying that she really enjoys being a part of it so I may check it out.

    I remember driving through Idaho quite some time ago as I travelled from Nashville back to BC. I remember stopping at Lake Coeur d'Alene and going for a boat ride on the lake. It was quite beautiful. Do you live anywhere near there?

    1Jo 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 

    . 1Jo 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our  faith.  

    1Jo 5:8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. 

    Hbr 2:4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will? 

    Rom 9:1 I speak the truth in Christ-I am not lying, my conscience confirms it in the Holy Spirit-

    Friend, the Holy Spirit is a very Powerful tool that the Lord has so graciously blessed us with being born again, there has been many times I have needed a quickening of the Holy Spirit & bang there it was, it has not only given me Victory over many situations, but how to speak to people when to an not to speak, lol, the Holy Spirit can be a witness 2 you in you & through you, the Lord once we have recieved Him has graciously blessed us with many of His qualities.     Eph 1:19 I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of His power for us who believe him. This is the same Mighty Power 

     Eph 1:20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms. 

     Eph 1:21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 

    Zec 4:6 "This [is] the word of the LORD  'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts.
