About me:

I'm madly in love with God, Christ follower, I'm a happily married writer and mom of a teenage son. I've moved thirty-three times in nine states, worked in banking, technology, and major computer corporations traveling around the country as a systems analyst.

I'm not a perfect wife, perfect mother, or perfect at anything. I keep a fairly clean house, cook semi-decent meals, and love to write. I'm a real life woman with real life problems. I've made stupid mistakes, sinful mistakes, and often traveled down the wrong roads. God never gave up on me and never let go, welcoming me home when I stumbled back seeking His grace.

Thanks to undiagnosed Lyme disease for over six years, my medical journey could be used by several medical television shows--House, ER, Grey's Anatomy, you missed your chance. This wasn't my first journey through difficulties--there have been many. I serve an awesome God who has helped me through sexual molestation, assault, rape, divorce, cancer, death, six surgeries, and illness.

There has been nothing enjoyable about suffering and pain but I wouldn't change it for the world, because through it all I have grown closer to the God who created, formed, and loved me before I was born. And you, my dear friend, also have a God who is with you, and who loves you forever.

    Oh, but you didn't miss it my beloved.  How are you this week?  We have another awesome testimony that we are also wishing for you.  We trust God.  It was in His perfect timing even though the ride was rough.  We survived with His grace.  He's doing the same (and even greater) for you and your family.

    Continue to TBR on your house and health.  Those tears will reap you joy vrey shortly.  You look wonderful in this picture, simply wonderful.  You carry your blessings well.  God is faithful.  I'll send out another bit of information about writing for The Examiner.  Until then, please come and make some comments on what I've written especially about Halloween.  Ms. "V" The Jacksonville-Christian-Living-Examiner-Reporter

    Hi Lisa,

    Wow! What a great surprise to drop by your site and see my "Thorns and Fragrant Roses" in your player. I feel honored! I think that song reflects your story quite well.

    I would love to see your Idaho photo's on your facebook page. I'm not on Facebook although it looks like almost the rest of the world is. Angie Thompson was saying that she really enjoys being a part of it so I may check it out.

    I remember driving through Idaho quite some time ago as I travelled from Nashville back to BC. I remember stopping at Lake Coeur d'Alene and going for a boat ride on the lake. It was quite beautiful. Do you live anywhere near there?

    1Jo 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 

    . 1Jo 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our  faith.  

    1Jo 5:8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. 

    Hbr 2:4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will? 

    Rom 9:1 I speak the truth in Christ-I am not lying, my conscience confirms it in the Holy Spirit-

    Friend, the Holy Spirit is a very Powerful tool that the Lord has so graciously blessed us with being born again, there has been many times I have needed a quickening of the Holy Spirit & bang there it was, it has not only given me Victory over many situations, but how to speak to people when to an not to speak, lol, the Holy Spirit can be a witness 2 you in you & through you, the Lord once we have recieved Him has graciously blessed us with many of His qualities.      Eph 1:20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms.

He goes to a special school here in the neighbourhood. Hes almost 13 y.o.  and  have syndrom of down.     Friend, there are times the enemy can make things look really bad, but hold fast to the One that is your guide, [even] to death, He is my God, my refuge, my defense, lately the enemy made something happen that looked really bad on me, tears have fallen hard & fast, but I have even had to talk to them, any ways, what He means for my harm the LORD [will] take care of His own.
