I'm a scientist (at the moment, a gene jockey ) who grew up in Ireland but now lives somewhere a bit warmer. I'm interested in languages, mythology, anthropology, religion and art. So yeah, I'm all over the place.

Didn't know you were still here - or that I was. The main reason that I am feuding with my friend at the Boston Gl*be is that he panned Across the Universe, which my wife and I really loved. Have you seen it? Based on what I have heard from the range of demographics it seems that you have to be d’un certaine âge to really appreciate it.

The funniest one we have in the states is JetBlue. In their ads they claim you can get one one of their planes and fly around in the sky for a while and come back down again.

Where'd you go anyway to have the sore experience you describe?
