Lmd64, otherwise known as Liam Dunne has been producing electronic dance music since 1994. Initially, his output was quirky, melodic chillout/big beat in the vein of Air, Kid Loco and St Germain with strong 50's/60's/70's influences, sampling the likes of Nancy Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix bootlegs and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, amongst others. Lately, he has been veering more towards funky house and jazz breaks, again with much usage of samples, disco synths and snappy beats. Using a combination of laptop-based sampling and hardware synths, he has produced a diverse range of music, from jazzy dance beats to funky electro. Influences include Mr Scruff, Ennio Morricone, Lemonjelly, Mylo, Bent, Lalo Schifrin, Air, Kid Loco, Dimitri from Paris and Pepe Deluxe, amongst others.

15 Thinkin Bout The Future Blues
15 tracks of lo-fi brilliance, described by DJ Mag as like "a more house/hip-hop influenced Lonesome Pigeon", via journeys into dub, ambient and disco. Referencing the music of his formative years, from Beck to the Beastie Boys, from Blues Explosion to Bjork - this is the sound of the Niallist finding his feet with his four track and learning the craft of writing a killer hook!
Remember folks, parts 1 & 2 of the trilogy (the noisy electronics of "Out Of Nowhere" & the more mellow drone pop of "The Next Big Thing") are still available as free downloads from Little Rock Records and form his own myspace.
Here's to a happy and prosperous 2009 for one and all!!
