Driving beats,Uplifting melodies,And breathtaking vocals. The perfect blend of House and Trance.
Born and raised in downtown Albuquerque,New Mexico. I was brought up in a large latin family, With Music and Dancing having a huge infuence in my life. I started my music career as a DJ at the age of 12yrs old. This was back in 1996 when i had the chance to meet and hear a live set from Dj keoki. He was such a nice and down to earth guy,he really inspaired me to go foward into the dance music world. Needless to say i was hooked on House music after that night. Very soon after that i started Djing Happy Hardcore with a Dj and what was soon to be a life long friend that i was put in touch with. I remember him showing me all the different genra's that dance music had to offer. So with my new found knowledge i spent every waking hour of my teenage years behind two Technics 1200's and a 2 channel Pioneer mixer trying to perfect the art of beat matching. I was always at local record stores digging around through various dance music crates for hours on end. Back then i had a few good dj friends i use to meet up with after school to collaborate with. We would do sets together with Hip Hop/Drum & Bass/Trance/Hardcore anything we had in our crates. After a few years of doing the Happy Hardcore bit i picked up on UK style Hard House when i was about 17 and from there on my BPM's just seem to keep getting slower and slower. I soon got booked spining Disco House and Chicago style House on wednesday nights at a local nightclub when i was 19.I guess you could say i was still searching for the style that i felt best represnted me as a Dj. I did this until i was 21,By this time i was traveling alot and playing shows and clubs from coast to coast. When in Maimi,Florida i picked up on Progressive House, I felt style had really changed over the years. It had more of a clean driving Trance feel to it and this was the sound i had been searching for all those years. I fell in love with house music all over again. The thing i loved so much about progressive house was that it was open to endless possibilities. So much can go into this genra of dance. There is no right or wrong way to do it. The style is just waiting to have a different sound put into it. So i took all that and thought it was time i started Producing my own tracks. My new found journey in music with creating my own original tracks started early in Feb 2009 when i was 24,and you could say i have found my new love and passion in my life. I can put myself and my heart into every track i make. And thats just the way i like doing things. Currently Based out of South Jacksonville,Florida this is where all the Lost in Mexico productions are written, put together and mastered by yours truly (Brian Lovato). In my efforts to give you a break from the repetitive and nondescript dance music that seems to be flooding the clubs and airwaves these days.Using 100's of different sounds, instruments,And my own innovative way of composing. I can create the perfect mix of House and Trance. Creating my music this way gives you the listener a truly unique and personal experience. So i invite you to get Lost in my music and find yourself Lost in Mexico.
