LoveBone distinguish themselves as Central New York’s high energy, hard rocking, in your face, trio.
Formed in July 2002, the beginning origins of the band came about when Roy ran into Chuck while buying KISS reunion concert tickets in Syracuse NY. This is where they first discussed the possibility of putting a project together. A week after hooking up at a Jackyl concert LoveBone was erected.
Making their live debut in January 2003, the band spent the year paying their dues and putting together their unique sound and addictive pulse. While rehearsing, writing, and performing, they developed a loyal following inspired by the groups interpretation of the music of the old school, 70’s/80’s, Dirty Hard Rock/Metal /Glam.
The name LoveBone did not just pop up. It came from a Poison song "I Hate Every Bone In Your Body But Mine" from the "Power To The People" cd. In July 2004, LoveBone won the Utica, NY radio station WOUR 96.9 Battle of the Bands. The band received heavy press and major reviews in leading Central New York music publications.
November saw the promo video release of the song "B.O.N.E.", produced by Rich Stahle from {U.V.T.V}, "Under Ground Video Television", recorded live at The Gathering Place, Phoenix, NY. Finally, the end of 2004 saw the 5 track studio demo recorded and co-produced by Tony Touris at Evolution Studios.
2005 started strong with the official cd release of the "BareBone Demos". Strong critical acclaim and highly positive reviews came from all over the world, Belgium, Italy, Canada, as well as throughout the USA.
Over the last several years, LoveBone’s releases include, Perris Records Hollywood Hairspray Volume 7, Versailles Records Skater Rock Compilation 1/2/3, Versailles Records Lick It Up - A Millennium Tribute to Kiss" with the bonus disc Strip Rock Volume 1/2, Metal Doll Records Volume 1, and A.O.G. Media, "Compilation Volume 5".
Geared for a wicked sensation, LoveBone are coming into 2008, with a new vibrating cd release,
"Jakkin’ The Box".
LoveBone, two words spelled as one, is up and running and makes you rock - hard, all night long.
