Music
Opera Rules and everything from Classical to Jazz, Rock to Ethnic..........Love it all pretty much.
Opera is really a passion with me. Buena Vista Club Love Spanish guitar like Paco De Lucia
Would love to be able to do flamenco.........Rachel Z Dept of Good and Evil .....matter of fact I rather drink wine, listen to music all the time except when sailing. That can be arranged too though depending on the boat. Not likely on a sunfish in a tropical storm.... " That music of youth, with its little sins and absurdities that almost point out the sentimental affectation…appears to me like the carvings in the Alhambra, those peculiar arabesques that sway nothing with their turns and shapes, but which are like the air, like the sun, like the blackbirds or like the nightingales of its gardens. They are more valuable than all else of Moorish Spain, which though we may not like it, it is the true Spain.” Albeniz.......
Movies
I truly was in love with Brando & Pacino growing up;>) On the Waterfront, Dog Day Afternoon, The Unforgiven, Shane for American movies. Excalibur(for dreams). Frida,

About me: City person, Small town person, Diva, Friend, Girlfriend, Beatnik, Bohemian, Bourgeoisie, Idealist, Working Class, Professional, Theatrical Make Up Artist, just to name a few. In other words "Moon Child Extraordinary" ....go figure. lol. Great love for the ocean, opera, art, sailing, travel, people, nature. A "Bon Vivant" in other words. La Dolce Vita! Wish I looked like Anita Ekberg too. (in the movie anyhow)
Also just being alone in nature with my own thoughts. I study Buddhism, the Tao & Pantheism.
I paint and enjoy days with my two Yorkies around the beautiful water world where I live. Separate entity than husband. I think we must keep our individuality.
Actually I love many types of music. Period, Classical, Jazz, Be Bop, Mahler, Wagner and anything interesting. It makes me think of Kurt Vonnegut statement about God and music. I am a political activist. I love people who know how to think, improvise, create etc. Adapt and overcome.
Love diversity. Not stuck in the past.
I also enjoy a healthy sense of humor bordering on outrageous..........
Humor is the lubricate of sanity ;>)

PRAYERS
Who I'd like to meet: What is a friend? .."A single soul shared by two people" Aristotle

“Slowly we crept upstream, laboriously feeling - it was the dry season - for the channels between the sandbanks. Lost in thought I sat on the deck of the barge, struggling to find the elementary and universal conception of the ethical which I had not discovered in any philosophy. Sheet after sheet I covered with disconnected sentences, merely to keep myself concentrated on the problem. Late on the third day, at the very moment when, at sunset, we were making our way through a herd of hippopotamuses, there flashed upon my mind, unforeseen and unsought, the phrase, "Reverence for Life." The iron door had yielded: the path in the thicket had become visible.” Albert Schweitzer
Everything we continually do with one another Keeps coming back around. The more love you give Out to others, the more you will receive. The key is to believe. Believe in love. -sadmonk Me and my Dad when i was younger. He passed away when i was 14 and i will never forget him. He taught me what it means to be kind and loving to everyone i meet. So see, even when we pass on from this world we can leave a part of ourselves that will always carry on as long as we continue to love one another. I will never forget my dad and i will continue in his footsteps. ♥

"In the immense silence of emptiness, Universal Cosmic Energy illuminates omnipresently over the deep space of impermanent existence, where sufferings exist endlessly in the profoundly moving beauty of the Universe. Meditation is the greatest path to the cessation of sufferings under the movement of intelligence, peace, and love."
I'm just a Vol fan. I'd have been way too small to play for UT. I never went to college because I was too busy getting my PHD in Partyology, lol. Hope you had a good Easter, and hope you guys have a fine week. Gassho, Drew.
People spend lifetimes striving to reach their goals and dreams which they believe will one day make them happy. Yet many find themselves addicted to the pursuit of their vision, and the fantasy of what may come, instead of actually enjoying being happy in their lives today. The truth is there are as many distractions inside us as there are on the outside of us, and they are ALL excuses that say it's not possible to be happy right now. The secret we've discovered to becoming unstoppably happy is simply to see how happiness is not far away at all. It is always a choice readily available to you in each new moment.
Have a beautifull day my dear friend,,,Much Love & Peace ,,,,NAMASTE!!!!
