About me:
MOP Credential
Metro Organizations for People or “MOP” is a federation of 37 member schools, churches, youth organizations, and neighborhood associations, representing over 65,000 people in metro Denver. We come together to have the power to change things in our communities that are negatively affecting our members’ lives, things such as crime, low-performing school systems and healthcare costs.
MOP is affiliated with the PICO National Network. Around the country, groups like ours are working to make things better across 18 states and 150 cities.
MOP’s member organizations are in Denver, Northglenn, Commerce City and Aurora. Our power expands beyond metro Denver to our Sister Organizations -- Congregations Building Communities in Northern Colorado; Communities and Schools Empowered in the Western Slope and we are currently working with clergy in Pueblo to build an organization in Southern Colorado.
