About MAC G™ IS FRESH OUT & FINALLY FREE!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MAC G IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talent can be found in all genre’s of entertainment, sports, artistry, as well in all corners of the world. But what defines a true talent? Well in the powerful world of Hip-Hop, a nice flow, lyricism, well orchestrated beats and all around versatility can define a solid talent. Thus Seattle, WA native “Mac G” is a perfect example of this specific talent. From producing solid material, constructing beats and production as well as being extremely universal with a wave like flow and punch lines to back it up, Mac G has easily proved that he’s a great artist in the making.
Raised on the gritty south end/west side of Seattle he manages to gain a loyal street following and immeasurable respect among his peers in and out of the music industry. After being introduced to the powerful and influential music of Hip-Hop at a young age, he never considered performing and writing his own material until he peeked the age of 13. Not taking it seriously right away, he used to: “Do it for fun to make people laugh” as stated by himself. Shortly after realizing he had talent and an ear for music he put aside his other activities, grabbed a pen and pad and began writing his own raps and doing freestyle battles in the streets, at school(s) and community centers ect. Although constantly finding himself in trouble, he managed to stay on top of his music game networking with several local acts such as childhood friend/rapper M-DUB (Now known as Laffyette) and other friends who collaborated on dozens of songs. His networking skills also later resulted in his close bond to down south rapper/friend Chaysuh. The two managed to complete several projects together and in the process gained notoriety in several states. It wasn’t until several years later that he would release his first independent mixtape/album/demo entitled “Nothin 2 Prove” under the name of Mac Milla. The 25 track EP moved several thousand copies (mostly by hand out) attracting instant attention to the young aspiring artist as well as 3 radio singles on local radio stations throughout Seattle and Portland.
Although due to life’s often bumpy roads, he put his music on hold momentarily to get re focused. In the process he reconnected with his close friend, local northwest rap pioneer Twin-G (Lac Of Respect, In The Name Of Game Vol. 1 & 2, The Status Active, Ect.) who took the young artist under his wing to show him the ways of the game and industry he hadn’t seen before, thus resulting in the well known name of “Mac Gamer“ or "Mac G" for short. After traveling on the road with Twin among others, learning the music business and networking with several figures in the music industry (Luni Coleone, 151, 2pac's Outlawz, Lil' Boosie, C-BO, T-Nutty, Bun B, Young Buck and many many more) he slowly got a more solid understanding of the work ethic and business aspects of the rap game and is now more ready then ever to introduce himself to world of music.
Now upon his recent release from prison, it's more certain than ever we can expect some magnificent things from "Mac G" in the near future. With his debut album: "Rise To Power: The Cause And Effect" now back on track, a 2010 release will FINALLY put an end to all the wait and anticipation. All we as hip-hop fans have to do is sit back and press play.
