" I’ve been playing piano since 1999. I was taught for six years in a music school when I finally gave up reenacting Mozart, etc. Instead of that I started composing my own songs. I wrote these songs on paper for one year however it became boring. But that didn’t satisfy me – I wanted some songs with more than just one instrument. Haphazardly I found a job in a clothes shop, which had a tone studio in the basement. A few months later I became interested in the studio and got to know some people working in the studio. I quickly took the chance to record my own songs – also to add some other instruments to these songs.
I quickly learned how to deal with the program "Cubase“ because I knew that it really was a fortune to have the chance of recording my own music. After a while I mainly produced Hip-Hop Beats, because the shop was a Hip-Hop-Store.
I departed more and more from my properly kind of music, the piano… the classical music. Inside of the two years I learned a lot about music, and its arrangement. During my progression I developed continuously. I tried different types of music like Trance or Lounge-Music. Being influenced by a good friend I finally found back to my "real“ music.
More and more I turned back to "classical music“. I don’t want to say that producing Trance was not fun however I didn’t have the chance to express my inner feelings. This kind of music wasn’t… well… „me“. It didn’t reflect my thoughts, my feeling. Moreover my music ought to make the listener to think about what he just listened to. How everything goes, how everything takes its way… and finally who is the listener himself.
People ought to be fielded by my music, when they fall. They are due to identify themselves with the music. The most crucial reason for my comeback to this kind of music was Thomas Weiss. He messed about with me and my music, let the music being a part of him. Finally his feedback opened my eyes to find the way to myself.
Now I..m envolved in several projects. I produce electronic music ,with DJ Cyco, classical musik ,by myself and Thomas Weiss, and Hip Hop & RnB, with my friedns from Hyspitt and NxSG.
I am doing well....aliitle tired. The weather here is strange. Cool in the morning...hot all afternoon, raining here and there. It is almost like it is not sure what to do. I have not written a song in almost a month. Writers block I am sure. I am sorry that you are still hurting....but know you have friends.....perhaps far away...who will be here for you.

I've just listened to your new compositions and was very much impressed! I love the tension emotion, which goes through the whole composition of "War with Myself"! "Farewell" is so touching, emotional and beautiful! And I was very much impressed and touched by "Rain"! Magic composition! You have such a beautiful vision of music!

"Please Follow Me" is quite a trip! Really like the balance between piano and cello... and then your modulation towards the end gives it all a nice touch! Love the becoming crash cymbals a lot... good work, Maik!
