Sounds Like
the world isn't ending
the world isn't beginning

it never will
In this story, the central figure will be childishly wise, obsessed with philosophy, slightly disturbed and on a trajectory towards unknown horizons. She imagines herself in the air, on a bicycle... she knows she chose the vehicle, but not the media, and searches the ground beneath her for a safe place to land. It's futile to search, of course, being in motion and on an upward trajectory. She develops affection for a handful of mirages. She cuts out paper likenesses of rain, snowflakes... things that know their way down.
She fills her lungs with air to sing.
"... a homecooked meal in the dark woods.... as unapologetic as the sky" voodoo/eros recording artist Diane Cluck
"Malcolm Rollick is a wearer of silly hats and a player of folk ballads that are nice and un-boring. And she's cute in a way that only folk singers can be cute."
Drew Gemmer, Portland Mercury
"I have rarely heard that a voice can transport such an amount of intensity even via CD. I can just guess how this must be to experience it live." Madchen Blog, Germany
