On February 18, 1986 in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico, a star was born. Manny X spent the early years of his childhood in Puerto Rico and was then raised in Providence, Rhode Island. He brings to the table a smooth blend of contemporary R&B laced with a passionate Latin voice and lyrical maturity and depth that has been missing in modern music. Rhode Island, not known for it's musical prowess, has given Manny X the flexibility to develop his own musical, lyrical and artistic style. Manny X is a Multi-talented producer / singer / songwriter ready to deliver on command.

Since the tender age of 6, Manny X has been performing in front of crowds. It all began in his church. By the age of 10, had already taught himself how to play piano by ear using methods as simple as plucking out notes and mimicking patterns he heard in songs. He learned all scales and patterns, chord relativity and even developed tremendous improvisational skills on the piano before ever knowing what any of their technical names were. By the age of 14, Manny X had developed such a well trained ear, that he became the lead pianist as well a the Co-Director of the worship team at his church. His first time hearing R&B music took him by storm! He claims, "...I was almost instantly marveled by the feeling the songs portrayed, the message the lyrics conveyed, the emotions that these artists were able to vocalized through hypnotic and syncopated yet highly sophisticated melodies...It gave me hope and introduced me to freedom!"

Now a days, Manny's continued his drive in music, constantly revising his strategy and defining not only his sound but his style by honing his talent and the way he interprets emotions through his music. He's gone through everything from heartaches to heartbreaks, love to lust, betrayal and loyalty, he's cheated and has been cheated on. His involvement with graffiti during his late teen years led him to love real Hip-Hop and it's displayed through his lyrics. His Christian backgrounds and faith all fighting against his desire to be free has led to a vast amount of stories and perspectives deeper than the average person his age. He's ready to get out there and let the world know what he's all about. From war to love, relationships to discordance, poverty to prosperity, living a dream to living a lie, God vs. human nature, LIFE and everything that revolves around it and in it...with the way the industry is going, it desperately needs a savior, fresh air, an escape... Introducing: "Manny X"

In May of 2008 Manny X independently released his debut album. This project was written/produced/performed/recorded and mixed by Manny X himself, hence knighting it with the name "Just Me." It has slowly come to be recognized as a monumental release for the R&B scene of Rhode Island and has begun to generate quite the buzz amongst fellow artists. This album declares a huge step in the right direction for the Hispanic Rhode Island crooner, and promises to leave a lasting impression in the hearts of his fans!

During Mid-September of 2009, Manny X released his highly anticipated Mixtape/Album, "Planet X." Since then it has amassed 700+ downloads in less than 5 months and continues to be downloaded internationally. The album is driven by the hit single "Forever Yours" which has created quite the buzz on an international level for Manny X and his movement. With more hits under the "Planet X" album such as 'Everybody Else feat T-Pain', 'I Do This', 'Dr. X', and 'Message To The World', Manny X is making sure his presence is felt and music reverberates throughout the industry!
