Multi-instrumentalist Mark Zanoni has played with blues, rock, bluegrass and folk bands across WI, including his own bands with bass player (and spouse) Michelle Ploskonka. "Soul to Soul" is a recent project featuring Mark, Michelle, brothers Mike and Joe Fittante of Antigo (drums and keyboards respectively) and Gerry Plank on sax (from Eagle River). Another previous project that gained some notariety in Central and Northern WI was "Red, Hot and Blue" featuring Cadillac Pete Rahn on harp and vocals.
Mark is also working with old time string band "Roll up the Rug" on fiddle, mandolin and occasional acoustic guitar. It's a departure from his typical electic guitar and harp role, but one that adds a whole new musical dimension to his musical work.
Mark has also appeared on recordings by Christian musician Bryan Sirchio and the short lived midwestern band "The Vibe." He is also a featured guitar player with the praise band at Lakeland Believers Church in Arbor Vitae, WI and is
working on several projects, including a CD of spiritually focused blues, rock and gospel.
