Melissa’s talent and love for singing was evident at the age of three, but took flight at 13 years old when a local audition came her way. Now, at

18, she is chasing her dream and recording her own music. Recently, she returned home from Los Angeles, California where she debuted her first original single “Waiting For You To Happen”, at the House of Blues LA. Over the past two years she has been busy performing opening acts for various legends including comedian/impressionist Rich Little and Creedence Clearwater Revisited at the Chesaning Showboat Summer Concert Music Series. She’s also been using her talent to help raise awareness and funds for various charities.

In addition to her passion for singing and performing, Melissa is a high school honor student and enjoys traveling and acting. Musical theater is also her forte! Locally, Melissa has appeared in several musical’s playing lead roles such as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Ms. Pennywise in UrineTown the Musical, and Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast. Melissa has been recognized with numerous awards for her vocal and theatre work both locally and nationally.

"The instrumentation here is awesome. Your production sounds far from that of an amateur and so do your vocals. It gives me that "down home blues" feel. You have a strong voice and you use it well here. I can appreciate your youthful sound in this classic genre. It's refreshing to hear respectable lyrics and see a wholesome image in a marketplace that laden with "sexually charged" artists. You have quiet a few engaging lyrics in this song.
