Thank you for adding me. I agree that we need to dissent, to question, we also have to agitate. Lennon said "living is easy with eyes closed" so I say, OPEN THEM! Art is such a wonderful path, or could be. Wonderful work! Good wishes from an agitator in the woods.

My art museum hosted a book signing for "Poems Across the Big Sky," an anthology of Montana poets last Thursday. It was a first-rate experience., and I'm glad to say that there were a number of poems by people of our First Nations. Victor Charlo read a piece, and his daughter April spoke the Salish translation for us all.
Copy and paste this link to their picture: http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k113/MTSpaces/charlo01.jpg
They are descendants of the famous Salish chief whose people were forced off their land in the Bitteroot Valley (Missoula) to live with their cousins on the Jocko Reservation, along with unrelated Kootenay -- stranded on the US side of the border with Canada. It's called the Flathead Reservation now, on the south side of Flathead Lake. (The town I live in is on the north side.) The publisher, Many Voices Press, will do a whole book of Victor Charlo's poetry for their NEXT project.
great site. let us create a network of social change for social justice across the corporate-owned myspace universe and connect in real time and real life in the struggle on the streets.
A mime is a terrible thing to waste! Actions speak louder than words. So speak the speech I pray you, as you pronounce it so trippingly on your tongue through the eloquence of gestures and physical attitudes!!
I blinked and missed informing the East Koast Kossaks about your Abrons Arts Center Experimental Theater performance. I'm starting on the Rhode Island School of Design festival right NOW, though. Let's read some reviews, if we can find 'em! CONGRATS
