About me:
I live in 0hio with my wife and two of my five children--three have left the nest. We share our place in the sticks with four dogs, one cat, two hermit crabs, one fish, fifteen chickens, four Guinea hens, three Ball Pythons, and one rat named Brutus, granted clemency after having survived his encounter with Toby, a python. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX When I'm not working or attending practice for whatever sport is in season with my boys, I write mystery/suspense novels. My first, The Vendetta, was published mid-2007 by Archebooks Publishing. It is available online from Barnes & Noble, Amazon Books, Target, and Archebooks. It's easy to find with Google. The Reaper, my second rogue-cop Michael Griffin story, should also come out through Archebooks. Books three and four, tentatively titled The Headsman and The Messiah, are under way. You can check out my prologues at http://www.authorsden.com/michaeltyler1 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I am proud to have served my country as both a Marine Infantryman (Semper Fidelis) and Army Special Forces NCO (De Oppresso Liber). XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Mystery/Suspense reader? Feel free to drop by my website at www.authormichaeltyler.com. Also check out Michael Tyler at AllTheseBooks.com XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX The Paratrooper's Prayer is a French poem found in the possession of the presumed author, Aspirant (Lieutenant) André Zirnheld, upon his death in Libya in 1942. It has been adopted by all French Paratroopers, including those belonging to the French Foreign Legion, as well as American Paratroopers, old and new: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I'm asking You God, to give me what You have left. Give me those things which others never ask of You. I don't ask You for rest, or tranquility. Not that of the spirit, the body, or the mind. I don't ask You for wealth, or success, or even health. All those things are asked of You so much Lord, that you can't have any left to give. Give me instead Lord what You have left. Give me what others don't want. I want uncertainty and doubt. I want torment and battle. And I ask that You give them to me now and forever Lord, so I can be sure to always have them, because I won't always have the strength to ask again. But give me also the courage, the energy, and the spirit to face them. I ask You these things Lord, because I can't ask them of myself. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ..
Who I'd like to meet:
Mark Twain. Homer. Buddy Holly. Abe Lincoln. Martin Luther King. Ma Barker. Crazy Horse. Chesty Puller. Marylin Monroe. Patton. Erwin Rommel. Dennis Hopper. Charles "Pretty Boy" Floyd. Forrest Whittaker. Bat Masterson. Audey Murphy. Wyatt Earp. Louis L'Amour. Anne Frank. John Paul Jones. Al Capone. Chief Joseph. John Wayne. Dillinger. Leonidas. Ned Kelly. William Wallace. Thanks for the add.

You may like to check out my recently released book - 100 Great Albums. It's a 220 page review of the best music recorded during the period 1965-08 featuring the Beatles,Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, Joy Division, U2, Nirvana, Radiohead, the Strokes and many more! Also, 500 vital album tracks are spotlighted (split between five categories... pre-1970, the 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000-08).

My aim is to prolong the existence of something close to my heart, something currently under severe threat from the download generation - The Album! With the modern world increasingly more interested in cherry-picking individual tracks, it seems to me a great shame that the sacred long-player is losing its importance. I'm on a mission to save the album before it's too late. All musicians, whether new or old to the scene, can appreciate the importance of that.

Please visit www.lulu.com/greatestalbums for further details

Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!

Wishing you a safe and blessed St.
Patty’s Day!

Happy Holidays! Hope you’re enjoying the season so far. Seems it has been quite some time since I spent some time on Myspace. I have been busy altering my website at www.tonycowger.com to reflect my newest efforts in the freelance and ghost writing markets and focus less on my own novel. Anyway, I hope the rest of your year is wonderful and that the new year holds all the abundance you want. If you or someone you know is in need of some writing help please send them my way at www.tonycowger.com. (For any help I receive from my Myspace friends I am offering a 10% finders fee to say thank you for helping out a friend so be sure to write and let me know in case your friend forgets to tell me. If you hire me yourself, that 10% would be taken off what you pay so, either way, you win.) I have experience in writing sales ads/presentations, non-fiction and, of course, fiction. Thanks and happy holidays!
Ben

What's up old guy? Might be up tomorrow night then just leave early Thursday! Gotta work on Friday. We just won two championships in football Sunday. We won our league then beat the top team in the league above ours. We won against the higher division team 57-56. They need to put it up on ESPN! Ha, love you.
