About me: DJ MICKEY BONO is a music producer (Beat Thrillerz & K5) and DJ in Orlando. He's currently the resident DJ for "Saturday Night Live" at BLISS ULTRA LOUNGE. Mickey's house music mixshow can be heard worldwide on the internet dance station RADIODANZ.com on Fridays at 9PM(ET). Some of his previous DJ residencies include Club 23, Vintage, Backroom, Tabu, Roxy, Club Lavela, Energy, Lux, Sanctuary, and House of Blues with special appearances also at Luxautica, Blue Martini, Rhythm & Flow, and Antigua. Corporate clients have included the business networking company, Red Carpet Monday and Puma. Mickey Bono started in music by taking 12 years of piano and vocal training and has a degree in music production and engineering from ARTI (Audio Recording Technology Institute).
DJ Mickey Bono was a producer/songwriter/keyboardist for the dance music group K5 from 97-2001. K5 was signed to Robbins/BMG in the US and Universal Records in Germany and best known for the international hit "Passion". Mickey is currently working with K5 founder and producer DJ KJ on some new K5 material for Germany as well as new songs for singers Rockell and Elissa. Mickey along with songwriter Hurley Lennox, produced and co-wrote Rockell's 2006 single "L.O.V.E.".
DJ Mickey Bono's newest project is BEAT THRILLERZ. The first single by Beat Thrillerz, "Rain", was signed to be played in all Abercrombie & Fitch stores and was featured on their website. Mickey is also the producer of singer/songwriter, Joseph, who's debut single, "Your Love Still Haunts Me" is currently in rotation on dance radio stations like BPM on XM and others througout the U.S. His Beat Thrillerz Mash Ups were some of the biggest selling house mash ups on Crooklyn Clan's "The Vault" in 2007. As of January 2009, Mickey's "Beat Thrillerz Remixes" are now available for download on www.RatedH.net. 2009 also sees the release of the Beat Thrillerz f/ Elissa single of "Your Love Still Haunts Me"
DJ Mickey Bono, as a member of K5 and as a DJ, has opened or played shows with such dance and pop artists as Benny Benassi, Armin Van Buuren, Rockell, DJ Icey, Planet Soul, George Acosta, Craig David, Destiny's Child, Nelly Furtado, Nsync, Backstreet Boys.
