Hi, my name is Andrew. I'm British-Canadian ( I was born and raised in England and came to Toronto at age 18 ). I love the fact that Toronto is so multicultural and I'm always interested in learning about different cultures and trying new foods. I recently went to: Moroccan, Egyptian, Persian, El Salvadorian, Turkish and Brazilian-Portuguese restaurants - wow!

I am sensitive, empathic, compassionate, honest, reliable, creative, open-minded, non-conservative and easy-going.

The kinds of people that I tend to hang out with fall into the following categories: University intellectuals ( or dropouts) / scientific / metaphysical-existential / artsy / avant-garde quirky / games-players ( or a mixture of the above since that describes me ).

I studied Advanced: Physics/ Math/ Chemistry (age 16-18) in the UK.

You're the type of people who are interested in bettering the world. You're possible the least nerdy of them all; unless you participate in other activies that paled your nerdiness compared to your involvement in social activities. You scored as Mystic, You are a Mystic. Practical magic isn't really your thing; you much prefer to take the inner roads to self-development and spiritual evolution. You find ecstasy in meditative silence and commune with the divine without aid of any church or religious leader to guide you. "Angel" by Massive Attack (6:34)

"Fan version of the song "Angel" by Massive Attack, with massive attack weapons. The clips used in this video are from the movie "trinity and beyond", an incredible docummentary with historical footage of tests of atomic bombs."

Andrew Moore - My two cents worth: I watched a documentary on the Bikini Island atomic bomb tests. There were native inhabitants on the island who were pushed off and air-lifted from the island. They were a simple people, their life consisted of fishing and sex in what was essentially a paradise island. They had zero contact with the outside world and had never seen video cameras before.

There were two perimeters of ships surrounding bikini island. The inner perimeter contained shaved lambs. The outer perimeter contained US Navy sailors in ships. The US sailors were far enough away, to avoid the explosive blast but well within range of the radioactive fallout. "Radiation" was only whispered amongst the higher ranking officers.

One Kansas, farmboy-sailor exclaimed that the bomb blast was "like a giant fire-cracker going off!". The inner perimeter of ships was shredded, as though from a shrapnel blast. The outer perimeter of ships seemed ok ( except for the dead fishes that started floating around them ). The sailors were permitted to go swimming in the water and the ship's intake valve sucked up contaminated water.

Through time, the sailors who did not immediately die from radiation sickness, had to have their grotesquely swollen, arms and legs amputated. The tribal spokeman for the displaced Bikini islanders cried, saying that they wanted to "go back to the island and live as God intended". The islanders, with their limited exposure to the outside world, could not understand why they were not permitted to go back, since there was no concept of "radiation". They only understood that the island was somehow "poisoned".

"You cannot be free by obeying the rules. You cannot be free by waiting for someone to rescue you. You cannot be free simply by hoping for a brighter day tomorrow. Freedom comes from within. It does not come from without. It does not come from a charismatic leader. It does not come with a set of instructions. It does not come from being raised with doses of discipline and dogma. It does not come from being given your freedom only after you prove yourself to your parents, teachers, pastors, or other authority figures. It does not come from any God who demands obedience before He promises blessings (or threatens curses). It does not come from delineated rights. It does not come from The Constitution. It is you from whom freedom springs. It is you in whom freedom thrives. No one gave it to you. Like Dorothy and her ruby slippers, your way home was with you all the time. You just didn't realize it. Do you understand? You are freedom. Contrary to that tiresome cliché, freedom is free. -- B.R. Merrick.
