I just wanted to say congrats on all your accomplishments, especially being a female artist from DC. It's great to see things moving in a forward direction for talented people. I don't know you personally, but we have lots of mutual friends including my girl Dior, Roddy, Holly Fitzgerald and more (and we have definitely been in a lot of the same spaces in time). Roddy speaks very highly of you (he's mastering my new album, so we were conversating on your success). May the Creator bring you all that you deserve and can hold. Just wanted to take time to extend love, one female artist to another. I remember seeing you perform live once with Kokayi--i think it was an Opus Akoben event at Cafe Nema when Asheru was throwing the Guerilla Artists show I believe. I remember thinking--whoa is she an emcee? (always cised when I see other females rhyming)--You were singing, but I was just waiting for you to kick a rhyme cause your style seemed to resonate that you would, I enjoyed it nonetheless. I had never heard a sound like yours before and wasn't accustomed to it. For every woman who is a success, I truly feel blessed in my artistry. Continue on the path of light. LOve and blessings. Danni.	Jul 1 2009 5:39 PM Dear Muhsinah I've realised that alot of my teenage years, (Only 14 ) i've been looking for something to really, really be engaged in when it comes to music... Now, living in Birmingham, England, I feel that it's very rare for me to find some music that's nearly everything all jumbled up into one. Now i'm not saying that my music over here is terrible haha! There's some tunes to be fairly proud of e.g. The Noisettes seem to have a lot of potential. I remember hearing your music in a shop and having to find the manager to find out who you were. I wrote it on a piece of paper and said, "I've gotta find this woman!" Then the worst happened, I lost the darn piece of paper. The next day, I discovered the Foreign exchange album and bought it. I soon realised that you were on there, I heard your voice before I saw the name :D. I think i'm getting a bit carried away...To the point When I listen to your music, everytime I seem to notice something different. e.g. When your voice has the deep voice behind it....and i sing along with the deep voice :D I've also realised that i don't skip any of your songs, i only have one other album that i have that experience with. It also gets me excited when i put on my ipod and your song comes on and i start singing along on the street...(I'm known for it!) Your music is Jazz, Hip hop. Soul, Eclectic, Rock, Neo Soul, Dance, Latin (In my eyes) all rolled into one to make a masterpiece and you can look deeper into your music (I bet you already know this.) Most of all...I LOVE IT!
