Having trouble installing the latest version of MySpaceIM?
For some users trying to install the latest MySpaceIM, it appears that the installation stops before finishing. We are actively working on a fix (thanks for your patience!). In the mean time, please try this workaround:
- Open your Windows Task Manager. One way to do this: Right click on the Taskbar (the long bar with your Start button, usually at the bottom of the screen) and select "Task Manager" from the menu.
- View the tab marked Processes.
- Click on the Image Name column header to sort all process names alphabetically.
- Locate the process named msiexec.exe. You may see several of them - if so, locate the processes which runs under your currently logged in User Name.
- Highlight the process and click the End Process button.
- Click Yes in the resulting message box to confirm that it is okay to end this process.
- After you stop the process, the MySpaceIM installation should continue normally.
- Close Windows Task Manager.
