Welcome to NAKED BATS myspace! My name is Derek Bonds and I am the 25 year old CEO of Naked Bats and Area51 Woodworks. If you havent heard of us I can assure you that you will soon enough. If you are a semi-pro/indipendent ballplayer or just a weekend warrior this needs to be your bat company. Being a coach for several years I started getting tired of being sold shit wood at pro grade prices so I set out to change that. Armed with an arsenal of knowledge the team here at Naked Bats has come up with four of the best balanced, hardest hitting bat models in the game today. I DO NOT DEAL WITH PROS so you will never be sold leftover B Grade lumber. Also adding to the fire our bats have a unique finish that makes our bats more durable than other companies. If you dont believe me just try one. Not only will you be getting a great looking bat but you will also be donating to a cause as a percentage of every bat sale goes to veterans charities across the nation. Currently I am coaching my company semi-pro team here in Michigan and will be traveling to the Dom. Republic with a national travel team in July. I am a utility player/pitcher and left handed power hitter. I love first pitch fastballs and brushing people off the plate. Old school in my approach I see a lot of changes in the game that make me sick and that is why this company is so important to me. Here I have the chance to speak my mind and market the aggressive in your face, take no shit attitude that was prevelent during the 40's and 50's. I enjoy scotch and love to grill out by the pool.
