About me:

"NorthEast Indiana Transgender Support Group" --- http://www.neitsg.com/ --- Started out of need for a place that transgender could meet and discuss issues that concerned the transgender community. To increase the groups communication and knowledge base, NEITSG website was created. The sites founder "Suzanne", still operates it with no finacial or other assistance. This page is simply an addition to the work already set fourth by her. I believe that we have the power inside ourselves to make our world a better place for all transgender. But why stop there, with this knowledge we can help the entire GLBTQ community. This site is based upon the idea of helping transgender survive in a not so always fair world. In this current state of the world, we can all use a little help. The more we stick together, the stronger we will all become. Many of us have lost family and friends due to our sexual or gender orientation. Please know that you are not alone. We are all over the world. Maybe you can find that friend to talk to, or that shoulder to lean on while you are here.

    "TRANSSEXUALS have been hit especially hard by the economy, and have lost their jobs or are otherwise unable to obtain suitable employment. The inabillity to change the GENDER MARKER with SOCIAL SECURITY under the REAL ID ACT makes it nearly impossible to get a job for many who are in transition, or for some other reason cannot get or do not desire gender surgery. Many are turning to escort services, prostitution or adult websites and webcams in order to gain income. I SUPPORT the efforts of these TRANSSEXUALS (though not the prostitution or any other illegal endeavor), and wish them all luck!" -Suzanne-
