Raw perseverance, determination and inspiration ensure survival. Nonpoint, an explosive and angst driven hard rock quartet from Fort Lauderdale, FL., have honed and perfected these survival skills. With over 10 years of successes and downfalls, Nonpoint recently separated from their founding guitarist and departed from their record label and management. Seamlessly adjusting to major change, Nonpoint is moving forward with new music, an adjusted attitude, an innovative state of mind and fresh surroundings.
One of the notable bands to break through the South Florida metal scene of the late 1990’s, Nonpoint was formed in January of 1998. The current lineup boasts vocalist Elias, drummer Robb, bassist Bastard and guitarist Zach.
Known as one of the most powerful, chaotic and brutal bands to destroy a rock stage, Nonpoint has an extensive tour history and a solid reputation. They have toured with major music heavyweights such as Mudvayne, Sevendust, Skindred, Disturbed, Drowning Pool and Buckcherry.
The band began the process of writing and recording a new album in May 2009. They have been recording in a new studio and Rivera describes it as a “different atmosphere” and explains that it’s “never a mistake to go to new surroundings.” Their music has been taken to another level and Rivera believes that “it’s the little things that are making these songs have a new life.”
Nonpoint is an adaptable, determined hard rock band who will always win the game we call “survival of the fittest.” They are currently managed by Split Media Management and will release new music in early 2010.

so i just spent the entire night downloading about 90 to a hundred dollars worth of tunes off of itunes...put it all on my ipod...closed everything down, moved it to my car (ipod and laptop)...then check mobile myspace right before I went to bed and saw the posts about "Cut the Chord" and had to pull it all back out to check out the new music...
HOLY SHIT! Hands down, this is the most incredible acoustic album I have ever heard...its simply amazing on every level...no song sounds alike and all of them remain faithful to the originals with an outstanding acoustic make-over...
Best 5 dollars I have ever spent...my only complaint, I would have most definitely paid a full 10 to 15 bucks for a full-length album...these few songs are just to great, i wish i could hear more!

the digital retake on Circles was awesome...Rabia didn't do it for me, just a song that in my head I feel always needs the raw energy from the way you originally did it.
