NILS LOFGREN has been recording and touring for 37 years. Known for his work with Neil Young, Ringo Starr and as current guitarist in Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, Nils is a prolific songwriter and touring machine, spending the majority of 2006 on the road to promote Sacred Weapon, his latest full length studio release.
Sacred Weapon features 12 original tunes with appearances by Willie Nelson, David Crosby and Graham Nash, plus contributions from Martin Sexton, Margo Reed, Mary Ann Redmond and Bob Berberich.
Featuring a duet with Willie Nelson on "In Your Hands", classic Crosby & Nash harmonies on "Frankie Hang On", and a great Grin duet with old bandmate Bob Berberich on "Can’t Take The Rock", Sacred Weapon is sure to be a classic for Lofgren fans.

Hi Nils Was at the last show At GS Fri Night you all were once again awesome very tight .Was at the sirius tent standing on the side of you during the interview u gave . it was excellent and genuine too. I also play acoustic been playin over 30 yrs I love it ;;If you ever need an extra keep me in mind LOL my Husband and I had a band in our 20's . he plays lefty bass. Go to Asbury for all your rehearsal shows and even got the chance to meet you one morn there . You were kind enough to take time to take a photo with me I was so excited just wanted to say thank you for all the music you have givin us over the years Love to new Cd with Neil another one of my favs play all his songs too with Harmonica around my neck LOL Thanx for the memories ...Lisa Jersey girl
