When life is too tough to handle
Focus on light, burn like a candle;
When you feel you're about to drown
Let your inner fire be your crown;

Love hurts . . .
That's what they all say,
But I will love again
when all this pain and sorrow goes away.

So I sit and think of all the things
this situation has cost,
And I realize that nothing
very important has been lost.

Instead, a learning experience
has come from all this.
I've learned that hardly anything
is more important than my happiness.

Devouring itself is evil's plight.

Depth is meaningless in attaining height.

She could live her life, forgetting the past.

The peope who were supposed to love her the most,

I look to the past at the bridges I’ve burned

Once they were crossed, the fires were lit
I looked to my future, not doubting one bit.
Which ones to burn, which ones to cross?
The gain must be weighed as well as the loss.
