One of the events that changed my life was a conversation I had with Arnie Laurence (RIP), an amzing man and a great Jazz musician. But mainly, a spiritual person. Each of his words reverbarates through my mind perfectly but not as spoken.
You see, he made me start a process that I now understand, no one can lead one there. It is all about getting to know yourself better and loving the ingridients of your creation. What is music if not language of the ultimate freedom? I still walk the way and would not replace my life experience with an easier, relaxed routine.
My best friends always act in a way that remindes me of his words and live again the feeling that hope is just across the corner when we only choose to see it.
I am also inspired by the desert. I like the parching silence and the dry air. In this survival battle my instincts are growing stronger and more sensitive.
The desert makes everything vanish and make me face myself, as is, without the verbal translations I script in my mind for years.
Thank you all for being a great inspiration:

"Intellectual Pop" or "The Israeli Tory Amos" are often heard in reviews about me. But the most important thing about music is that it can hit your guts so hard and if it's good - the style doesn't matter. I believe in coherent ideas and identified melodies. At least half of my art is the say I have to evolve. If that doesn't go through, my mission fails.
I hope I can grow to achieve a clear and steady say that comes through purely.
Noam spent the last 6 years performing her music in Israel and Europe, playing with the best orchestras in Israel, taking part in different productions, from classical music to musicals and studying different fields of music. Her successful EP, released on February 2007 represents the life and work of the young-adult musician over her past 2 years with several bands and projects and aligns the route to her album - “Daily Sketch”, already in work process with "Combo records" Israel & will probably be launched this summer.
Noam dominates a few musical styles from Classical singing & playing to Pop & Jazz. She wrote the music and lyrics to her songs, sings & plays the Trombone & Piano. Most importantly, Noam keeps inventing and finding herself, never ceasing to surprise even those who thought they knew her well. This is the music of a true artist, who, at the young age of 25, has already her own unique voice and is not afraid to express it as well as her strong opinions, promoting world peace and tolerance.
Noam in the press:
"If you hear she performs in your town, RUN to the show!" (Pe'er Friedman, Ma'ariv) "A fresh, Charismatic & Charming Singer-Songwriter on her right way to the top" (Amir Kidron, Tel Aviv City) "Pop is not a bad word, not when you write Intellectual Pop" (Het Fijnhout)

How are ya. Love what you're doing. It's very innovative. I'm in Edmonton Canada playing with "Arrested Development" on a festival and the group that played after us is also fron Israel. I was there last summer and for me, it was a life changing experience. I had some of the best food there as well. lol
Hee Noam! :) Goed van je te horen! Hier alles goed! Nu weer m'n leven hier in NL oppakken, 100den mails/telefoontjes etc.! Zucht! Hoe is het daar in Israël? We missen je hier!!! Wanneer kom je terug? Liefs xx Fab
How are you? Just wanted to let you know that I uploaded a new song from the album AND made a Live cover for "Sting-Shape Of My Hear" HD Video http://www.myspace.com/liordavidi
Thanks so much for the Add, your nice comment–and your friendship. We enjoyed your music very much. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. It's a pleasure having you among our friends!
We've just added two new blogs about Umano, plus four more new compositions, making ten on our space. We hope you and your friends visit us and enjoy our music, too.
We wake up every morning and play the music of the new MySpace friends who have arrived at our site during the night. It occurred to us that these friends (you are among them) are almost universally positive, whether they be novices or legends, and without regard to their station in life or the country they occupy.
Although it's not an original thought, it also occurred to us that we couldn’t hold a verbal conversation with most of these friends, but we have bridged that gap by expressing our art honestly with each other.
We all have been filling the world with our music and art, in the hope that our messages of love and human understanding will have an impact on the world at large.
What a gift and what an opportunity we have received from this technology!
oh, and furthermore, I really like u/ur music a lot and who would have thunk a trombone would be a hook! It's perfect, besides the beauty or it's noise and all that, the novelty factor, as soon as I saw the pic, 100% knew that I saw u on Jules or wherever. which is to say I know it was u. The piano and your lovelnes play into that. And u deliver, I predict u wil do well if u haven't already. Maybe I better check out our page......
