Norman Kelsey Romance is on her way to the discothèque and she’s on the arm of Norman Kelsey. Norman’s got a T.A.L.E.N.T. and he’s going to share it with you. In 2008, Norman Kelsey rocked select venues to promote his debut LP “A Talent For Loving.” In May, Norman toured the UK for a second time, hot on the heels of airplay on BBC Radio (The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show). The finale of the tour was at the historic Cavern Club in Liverpool. For 2009, look for Norman to play out on the West Coast starting Summer. Plans for "NKUK2010" are already underway.
Norman Kelsey is a charismatic singer-songwriter based in North Hollywood, CA. Born in Cleveland Ohio, the birthplace of rock & roll, his influences range from Prince to Franz Ferdinand. With personal favorites like Michael Jackson and Martin Fry of ABC, Norman’s sound is reminiscent of 80’s new wave R&B. Kelsey alternates singing in a rapturous falsetto and with James Brown-inflected grit.
As lead singer of Rush Hour Soul, Norman toured the UK in 2006; a barnstorming trip that brought sunshine and funk-rock to the North of England. He filmed the promotional music video for the title track in London with director William Archer. In 2007, Norman recorded his solo debut on two continents with producers Adam Marsland (Lincoln Lounge, Venice CA, USA) & James Rix (Monnow Valley Studios, Monmouth Wales, UK). The disc is forty solid minutes of sexy dance-floor fillers, heart-stopping slow jams and a terrace anthem about universal love. His track Everyone's Ingenue was featured on the 2008-09 season premier of ABC's 'Eli Stone.' Norman was also officially entered into 8 categories for the 51st Grammy Awards:

Just wanted to let you know I have posted a blog in which fans can leave their condolences for Michael's family. I will be printing them out and forwarding them to the family within the next few weeks.

While sitting around on hiatus one day I got this idea to run out to the woods and make a video. So, I borrowed a camcorder, picked up my director buddy, Guy Bee, along the way, and spent a day strumming up in Topanga and Bell Canyon. Here's what we shot.
