We NuPsalm want to take this time to thank TED for the past season of playing....we played about 15 or so shows and it was good, Gid has made changes in Ted's life that no longer allows him this time to be in the band.....It is with sadness that we see him leave but, all is good and our lives move forward and with a band the show goes on....Again THANK YOU TED and family as it does become a strain on a family.....WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST......
Janet, Mike and Hyland have been together for 4 years and make up the core group. The song writing ability of these three is amazing. Rick just recently came to the band, bring his songwriting and singing that is going to help the band become that much better, Ted just recently in the last few weeks joined the band and has also made his impact to the band. The band has gone through many changes over the years in order to become the band that it is now. You really need to hear us now to really enjoy what we are putting out musically. For some people, the only sermon they may ever hear is the music that we play. This is a big responsibility that we take seriously.
Welcome to NuPsalm! We are a Contemporary Christian Rock Band. Our style varies from light listening praise songs to edgy rock songs. Yet, even with the varied styles, all of the songs have a common goal. They all are about bringing praise and worship to God through the gifts he has chosen to give us as musicians. The varied styles of our music are appealing to all age groups.
The band’s current goal is to go as far as God opens the doors and leads us. We do not perform for the purpose of financial gain, but instead it’s about praising and bringing glory to God. In addition to being hired for special events, we also play for benefits, churches, and missions donating our time and music. In the end, watching our audience praise God and receive his touch is priceless. The following are examples of some of the bookings we have had in the past: Praise in the Park at Albany, Celebrate Recovery in Moline, The Youth Extravaganza at Northside Baptist Church in Dixon; The Rock Place in Rockford; The Coffee Beanery in Naperville; Heritage Festival in Rochelle; The Lighthouse Café in Dixon; Family Funfest 3 at Cordova drag strip; Daniels Den in Plano; and many praise and worship services at 1st Presbyterian Church in Rochelle
