The 1st time I heard Stacy Lattisaw's 'Love on a Two-Way Street', I knew immediately that singing was what I wanted to do...even though the song was old at that time. I loved singing her songs and only her songs. Since I was already writing poetry, writing lyrics for songs was a snap!!!
Shortly after, I joined my church youth choir. I wanted to lead ALL of the songs! It was pretty funny!!
Now, being a bit older, my style has changed a bit.
My favorite musical entertainers are: Alicia Keys, Rihanna,Britney Spears, 'old-school' Janet Jackson, & Gwen Stefani...simply because they put on GREAT shows!!!
I enjoy (and don't mind) entertainers who mix singing (or lip sync) with high energy, exciting, & mesmerizing dancing, i.e. Britney Spears. I don't mind this because if you're putting on a great show with energizing dancing, there is NO WAY you can sing 100% of the time...it's not possible.
I am into belly dancing and kickboxing.
