At Wicked Ink we are proud to present a collection of diverse styles and types of art. This work is rendered for those searching for their own moment frozen in time: Drawings and enhanced reprints of your loved ones (examples are military, police, firemen fallen in the line of duty); abstract art; the art form of wild style new graffiti; pin-up art from the 40’s and 50’s; commercial horror drawings; classical landscapes; and we are open to your suggestions. Wicked Ink will strive to bring a unique art style direct to the triangle area consumers which here to for has been unavailable. Our goal is to bring together an art appreciation audience (one looking for new and different styles) and new exciting artists as yet undiscovered (no art shows, non mainstream and independent). Wicked Ink is also planning to present T-shirts, reprints and original custom artwork to you. For small business owners-if you do not find the artwork you’d like to display in your lobby-we also offer logos, web pages, business cards and letter heads etc.
Commercial artist, 27 years of age 4 years of classical art training (bone structure and muscle depth, etc); 2 years NC State in graphic design; 2 years Associate degree at the School of Communication Art in digital media/graphic design and advertising, with 6 years of color development; 2 years Associate degree at the School of Communication Art in 2D and 3D classical animation, featuring classes in character development and story writing. I have become proficient in the programs of Photo Shop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Express, Adobe Premier, Sound Forge, Acid Pro, 3D Studio Max, Flash, Dream Weaver, Maya and HTML. I also studied Photography and developing for 7 years. My art style: I enjoy bright neon colors, and enjoy the ability to blend a wide variety of rays and hues. Bright colors against a contrasting basic black and white frame. My personal favorites are the new style of Graffiti and the old style abstract art as well as 40’s and 50’s pin-up art. I try to incorporate a small message in each art piece.
Who I'd like to meet: Wicked Ink is always looking for new talented artists and muses. Artists: Any one who feels that their talent is untapped, or wants to get their art a foot closer to recognition, please get us a small sample of portfolio worthy work in a Jpeg or bit format. Muses: Wicked Ink is looking for artist models. Please send us a photo, age (please be over 18), size (no limit), race and religion (not a requirement). This work will pay decent, and we will help to get your name out there. Wicked Ink is also working with a local production company who produces music videos, independent films and commercials. They are constantly looking for extras.
