had an amazing time voluteering for the Dallas concert last night. Pete made it easier for me, being my 1st time volunteering.
I cannot wait to have another opportunity to do so and to try to get a local Dallas group started!

A human being is part of the whole called by us the universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for
a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. ... We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if mankind is to survive.

Hi Oxfam.....I signed up to volunteer with you guys at the Coldplay concert in Dallas in November. Can't wait!

Please sign this postcard, and pass on to your friends. Hopefully we can help end the genocide in Darfur! Thanks...and, Peace, Love and Light! xoxo Ash

Both of the presidential candidates have pledged "unstinting resolve" in pursuing an end to the genocide in Darfur.

We want to deliver one million postcards to the next president on his first day in office to let him know that Darfur is a Day-One priority for the American people and it should be for him, too.

Sign an online postcard to the new president today or Order some paper postcards for you and your friends to sign!

Dear friend,

In just two weeks thousands of like-minded people around the world have taken part in in my name, and over 750,000 people have watched the in my name videos on YouTube.

So to build upon this fantastic online success, this weekend we're joining Stand Up and Take Action, who are aiming to break the World Record for the largest coordinated movement of people in history: 43.7 million people. Breaking this huge record will amplify the clear message to governments to end poverty and inequality and meet and exceed the Millennium Development Goals.

Everyone who adds their support online to in my name during October 17-19 will count towards the World Record, but we've only got a 48 hour window.

Help make history – forward this email to 5 friends and ask them to add their name at www. inmyname. com

Stand Up and Take Action brings together a global movement of people - from villages and cities, from rich and poor countries - who refuse to stay seated or silent in the face of poverty and broken promises to end it.

Last year, over 43 million people Stood Up around the world to demand that world leaders keep their promises to end poverty and inequality and make progress towards the Millennium Development Goals. Join with us in this global moment of action:

Forward this email to 5 friends and ask them to add their name at www. inmyname. com

Every day, 50,000 people die as a result of extreme poverty and the gap between rich and poor people is increasing. Nearly half the world's population live in poverty, 70% of whom are women.
